April Five Favourites

April has come and gone but I had the best month ever. I turned 25 and I signed a lease on a flat with one of my best gals. I haven't been trying out a lot of products but I still managed to think of five favourites for you guys so keep on reading to find out what they are.

May Goals

So May has snuck on me and Spring has finally sprung in bonnie Scotland. I love May as the weather picks up meaning more drinks in the sun and I can wear cute clothes again. Here are some of the things I am aiming to tackle this month.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection

I've had this beauty of a palette for a while now but I have been grabbing for every day recently so I wanted to dedicate a post to it and to share these pretty pictures too.

April Goals

Well it's April already but I ain't complaining because I am loving all the Spring Vibes with brighter days and lighter nights. I am excited for what my birthday month has to offer which will hopefully involve moving out of my mum's after a solid 14 months at home and in to my own flat (albeit rented but lets ignore that fact okay).

March Five Favourites

It's that time again for my monthly favourites. I was loving quite a lot in March so let's cut to the chase.

Pixi Skincare

My skin has been acting out recently so I invested in some skincare products from one of my favourite brands, Pixi. It is so handy (read dangerous) having a Pixi counter in Marks & Spencer. I think as far as skincare goes it is reasonably priced and worth the hype in my opinion.

Spring Homeware

Hands up if you are as obsessed with interiors as I am? Seriously my Pinterst is just full of blush pinks, palm leafs and rose gold so this homeware wish list is no different. I love the leap into Spring as it means change and fresh starts. Here are some of the things I am crushing on from some my fave homeware stores.

Sunday Adventures

I bloody love a Sunday and this one was particularly good as we drove through to Edinburgh to hang out with Alison's best pal Kirsty which was lovely. The sun was shining and it is getting me so excited  and ready for Spring/Summer.

Go To Everyday Makeup

I only have 30 minutes tops to get ready in the morning before work so I have my everyday makeup routine down pat. My work is quite casual so I don't ever wanna do anything too out there for the office. This look is a really fresh and glowy and definitely my go-to for subtle glam.

Spring Wish List

I put together a little Spring Wish List of all the things want to add to my wardrobe and makeup collection to get into the Spring spirit. I am so ready to say buh bye to Winter which lasts for a solid 6 months in Scotland. Hello to lighter nights and longer days.

The Androgyny Palette

I have been patiently waiting for the release of this palette and was so shocked when Beauty Bay dropped this on the same day as it was released in the US (literally never happens, us UK beauty lovers usually have to wait ages or pay huge custom fees). Of course I had to snap it up and I am so glad I did! The packaging of this is so thin and sleek, making it perfect for travelling, along with the mirror which is really good also. I love the hot pink faux snake skin effect, it's so sassy.

March Goals

Again lets all ignore the fact we are in the double digits in March and that this post was meant to go live on March 1st. One of my goals is to get my shit together and organise my life better, wish me bloody luck.

February Five Favourites

Better late than never am I right? Five favourite things I was digging in the month of February, seems forever ago now... sorry! Promise I am gonna get back into that regular blogging life and quit slacking...

February Goals

Okay, let's ignore the fact it's nearly halfway through February and I am just getting around to posting this...

January Five Favourites

Five lifestyle favourites from the month of January. I am honestly in disbelief that the first month of 2017 is almost over. I swear time is moving faster than ever before. Come see what I've been loving.

Room Tour

Don't know about you guys but I love having a peek in other people's bedrooms. I think they say a lot about a person. Mine is not 100% finished and I am back living with my parents so the room is pretty small but it is my little sanctuary. You'll find lots of faux fur, copper accents and fairy lights. Come inside, make yourself at home.

Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses

I've always been a bit of an avid sunglasses fan so it seems fitting that I work for an online designer eyewear store, Pretavoir based here in Glasgow. Some perks of the job include being able to see all the latest designer sunglasses and getting to try on the odd pair too. I picked up these beautiful Dolce & Gabbana frames after a lot of umming and ahhing, too many choices, I want them all!

2016 Beauty Favourites

I wanted to share my favourite makeup products of 2016 from the best eyeshadow palette to lipstick. So much love for these products.

Five Cities to Visit in 2017

I want to try and visit five cities in Europe in 2017. Copenhagen is a slight cheat because this is already booked for Dee's 30th. We actually studied abroad in Denmark so I've been to Copenhagen a few times but haven't been in years so I'm excited to go back. We got cheap flights for £35 return and an Airbnb right in the heart of the city so I'm looking forward to ah-ing over all the Scandic decor and eating all the Danish pastries. We might even squeeze a bit of cycling in, has to be done.

Charlotte Tilbury

Ugh how pretty is the Charlotte Tilbury packaging?! Anything copper/rose gold and I am there. I was lucky enough to some of Charlotte Tilbury's most hyped products for Christmas so thought I would do a little brand review for you.

Urban Decay

Urban Decay is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. I think they really upped their game over the last year. I picked up a few of their most raved about products and have a little mini review for you.

January Goals

Let's keep this month's goals brief as I have 10 New Year's Resolutions to commit to... I think we are way to hard on ourselves this time of year so my goals this month are to go after what makes me happy.

10 New Year's Resolutions 2017

I know many think New Year's resolutions are dumb as we usually set goals that are too high to achieve. I like to make 10 mini goals each year. I don't take them too seriously, so I don't beat myself up if I haven't stuck to them all in January. January sucks. Be kind to yourself, don't stress yourself out over trivial things. Instead by setting mini challenges it helps me to keep motivated throughout the year. Give it a try, you never know, you might just stick to some of them and make 2017 the best year yet.

What I Got For Christmas 2016

I love having a nosey at what everyone else on the internet got for Christmas so I thought I would give a little run down of the presents I was lucky to receive. I am super grateful to all my family and friends and especially to my Mum who spoils me 365 days a year, Heather you are the best. The older you get the less important gifts become, it's all about the food and drink am I right? But I love giving presents, seeing someone's face light up when they unwrap a gift is one of the best feelings ever. So thanks again everyone and I hope you like what I got as much as I do.

Real Techniques Brushes

I've been meaning to post these pictures of my favourite Real Techniques brushes for a long time now, sorry life and work got in the way. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to get back in to blogging so here I am, again. I'm also back and with a slightly updated blog design (shoutout to Etsy for its amazing blogger templates). I hope you like it!
